As part of efforts to prove his physical fitness for the task of the president, Atiku Abubakar has taken to his twitter handle to share picture of himself on treadmill .
He wrote :
I regularly jog more than a mile & exercise, but it will be pedestrian of me to ask Nigerians to vote for me because of that. I want my party - the PDP, and Nigerians, to vote for me because I WORK not because I WALK. I will work to create jobs. I won’t walk to create an illusion .
It will be recalled that president Buhari trekked a distance of 800m to his home in Daura, Kastina State ; an exercise his party chieftain claimed it's a sign of fitness.
