President Buhari has declared 12 June a democracy day in honor of MKO Abiola-
the presumed winner of the June 12, 1993 election. He also announced the posthumous award of GCFR to MKO Abiola and GCON to late Human Rights Activist, Gani Fawehinmi. Many see it as a victory to the Yoruba nation. Below are their reactions.
